Kinabalu Challenge

Kinabalu Challenge

Are you are looking for a challenge for 2009, to make a difference while having an amazing experience, or you just need an excuse to fulfil those new year resolutions and get in shape, read on.

Between 6th - 14th November 2009 we are running our Kinabalu Challenge event. Taking place in the spectacular setting of Malaysian Borneo, the nine day event will test your skills and endurance against fellow competitors and the elements. You will find yourself hiking, biking and rafting among some of the most diverse flora and fauna in the world, culminating at the summit of Mount Kinabalu at 4,100 metres above seas level.

Helicopter into the jungle, build your own shelter, trek through rainforest, paddle down tropical rivers, ride the rapids on your team-built raft and climb 4,100 metres up Mount Kinabalu, the highest mountain in South East Asia in the ultimate team adventure race.

Set deep in the jungles of Borneo, the Kinabalu Challenge is a five day adventure race bringing together up to 12 teams from all over the world. Each team of four will complete a series of daily physical and mental challenges which include abseiling, trekking, kayaking, white-water rafting and a tough mountain ascent.
