Ngulla Community Nursery (Community Centre)

The Nursery Centre uses Horticulture therapy with people primarily identified from the “social inclusion” agenda as having significant problems. It provides provided an opportunity to develop both personal skills and vocational skills. A case management approach is used to provide guidance and support and to assist the person to make some progress with their life. In 2009 there were a number of groups including indigenous groups, migrant group, at risk youth young people, people with mental health from June O’Connor Centre and another from South West Horticulture Therapy. In all 160 people attended.
