Youth Services

Youth Connections STARTING SOON

This program is targeted at young people at risk of dropping out as well as those who are not attending school and seeks to support and guide young people back on to a path that will see them address their personal issues such as homelessness, drug issues, self harm etc and remain in education, training or obtain employment.

Green Jobs

This program offers six month placements for at risk youth (17 -24 years) to assist in developing individuals’ personal skills and overcoming specific problems in their lives. The projects are environmental based and utilise experiential learning to enable young people to gain confidence, self-esteem and form goals for their future. A case management approach enables participants to overcome their significant personal problems.

Global Youth Motivate (GYM8)

This is an initiative to assist homeless and at risk youth to overcome their particular circumstances and prepare for the future. The program offers an opportunity for 17 – 24 year olds to participate in an intensive “residential facilitated week”, specific ongoing projects, attend Australian and overseas expeditions of up to ten weeks. A case management approach and group therapy techniques are used to address their psycho-social problems and enable progress to a sustainable position in life.

Bridging the Gap has devised a unique ‘results focused' youth camp. Basically, it's all about you! The camp helps you to focus on where you want to go in life, and what you want to achieve, and you do all this whilst having fun!

The camp comprises of fun filled activities, low ropes, abseiling, raft building, and a trek, all of which aid the growth of personal self-esteem and confidence. You will also participate in "soft skills" focusing on your needs and wants, helping you to get more out of life

The camp will aid you in getting direction in life, study and work. It will give you the self-esteem and confidence to tackle your future and get the most out of it. Best of all its FREE!

So rise to the challenge and "ROAR"
