Bridging the Gaps Supervisor Fiona Burton and her Work for the Dole participants have been tirelessly researching and sampling some of Australia’s finest native foods to help produce the Modern Bushtucker cookbook!

The participants were tasked for coming up with new recipes and ways of using our natural resources to produce an amazing array of practical recipes that tasted great. Programs Manager Laureen Weyell was delighted with the end result ‘The team really worked hard to come up with some great recipes’ she went on to say ‘we couldn’t have been happier with the way the book turned out, its a fantastic team effort.’ For your copy of the Modern Bushtucker Cookbook please head into our Mandurah Office.
