Bridging the Gap will provide training that will equip you with essential skills to work as an Individual Support Worker in the Disability Sector
The project is based on training and placing 12 mature age unemployed jobseekers into employment as Disability Support Workers. This industry sector currently employs 13% of the working population in WA and is projected to grow by 27% in the next four years indicating an increasing demand for suitable workers. The project will run for 12 weeks, resulting in work experience and employment in the industry for the 12 participants.
